Overview
The 2026 AXIS Black Aluminium Base Plate is CNC-machined from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminium and finished in a black anodised coating built to handle both salt and fresh water. The tapered mast pocket and cross-stabilising bolt give a stiffer, more precise mast-to-plate connection, and the slimmer overall width fits neatly inside trench-style boards such as the AXIS Pocket Trench. Extra mounting holes give you direct attachment points for a Foil Drive or other foil-assist system.
Not compatible with previous-generation 19mm RED Aluminium masts. Pair this plate with the 19mm Black Aluminium mast range and a Doodad mast-to-fuselage adapter to complete the mount. Need screws? Check out our Stainless Steel and Titanium Screw Sets.
