What makes the Kaiwi different

Most masts are built to handle every rider and every wing, which means extra material and extra drag. The Kaiwi takes the opposite approach: by optimising specifically for smaller-span wings and lighter riders, AXIS achieved an exceptionally low-drag profile that larger, stiffer masts simply cannot match. Over a year of hydrodynamic and structural R&D went into every millimetre of its geometry and material stiffness.

Who is it for?

The Kaiwi 780 is designed for riders up to 85 kg using front wings up to 100 cm span (excluding the Tempo). If that describes you and you are chasing maximum glide for downwind runs, pump sessions or prone foiling, this is currently the most efficient mast in the AXIS line-up. What started as the world’s most efficient downwind race mast project turned out to benefit any rider seeking less drag and greater control.
